Repository¶
Overview¶
A Repository serves as a crucial hub for the systematic organization and efficient handling of various resources within a software development and deployment ecosystem. In this context, it encompasses two primary and distinct yet interrelated components: model management and image management. These elements play vital roles in streamlining development processes, ensuring consistency, and enabling seamless collaboration among team members.
Why Storage?
Repository is an important component for managing models and images, enabling users to handle various operations related to models and images.
This category includes:
Images¶
In the Repository, image management is versatile. Users can view official images sourced from trusted repositories, which serve as a reliable foundation for development and deployment. Meanwhile, they can upload private images to meet specific business needs and perform operations such as tagging, version management, and deletion on them. Additionally, users can synchronize official images from Docker Hub to their private repositories, enabling quick access to the latest images.
Models¶
Model management is equally robust. The Repository comes with officially preset models that cover a wide range of common scenarios, providing a basis for developers to quickly build prototypes. Users can also create their own models, defining architectures, selecting algorithms, and configuring parameters according to project requirements. After creation, these models can be saved as private ones, with version management supported to facilitate team collaboration and model evolution.
